Capital City Youth Ballet presents Beatrix Potter's Tales
Nampa Civic Center
Feb. 8th 2019

Capital City Youth Ballet’s mission statement is to be a ballet company open to pre-professional dancers ages 12 – 18, which strives to provide a training ground for students who wish to pursue dance at the collegiate level or as a career. Additionally, the Capital City Youth Ballet company welcomes collaboration with local artists in support of community events. As a non-profit 501(c)3, this organization offers theatrical performances in the Nampa Civic Center as well as educational dance appearances in other venues throughout the valley to encourage young children to explore and enjoy dance.

This year’s Winter Show will feature the stories of “Beatrix Potter’s Tales” brought to life through dance. Also, on the program will be excerpts from the classical ballet Giselle and two original pieces of dance by local choreographers Caitlin Cullen and Melissa Strader.
